Data Integration Engineer
About the role
Integral Federal is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to engineer and sustain mission-data movement, synchronization, transformation, reconciliation, and quality across JPES/JCRM and external systems. The role involves developing data mappings and transformations, supporting data synchronization and reconciliation, analyzing and resolving data-quality issues, troubleshooting end-to-end data flows, validating inbound/outbound data exchanges, coordinating data dependencies with external systems, and supporting interface and integration testing. Additionally, the role requires developing monitoring and validation approaches for mission data.
Responsibilities
- Develop data mappings and transformations
- Sustain mission-data movement, synchronization, transformation, reconciliation, and quality across JPES/JCRM and external systems
- Support data synchronization and reconciliation
- Analyze and resolve data-quality issues
- Troubleshoot end-to-end data flows
- Validate inbound/outbound data exchanges
- Cook up data dependencies with external systems
- Support interface and integration testing
- Develop monitoring and validation approaches for mission data
Requirements
- Required BA/BS in an engineering discipline
- Additional four years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
- 5+ years data engineering/integration experience
- SQL and relational database experience
- ETL/data-transformation experience
- Data-quality and reconciliation experience
- Interface troubleshooting experience
- U.S. citizenship and required Secret eligibility
Qualifications
- Preferred PostgreSQL
- Java/APIs
- DoD operational-data integration
- JOPES/JPES/JCRM experience
Skills
- Technical skills in data integration, SQL, ETL, data quality, and interface troubleshooting
Benefits
- Salary range $125,000-$155,000

Pay
This position is in the proposal stage. The above salary range represents a general guideline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
