About The Role

The Commercial Data Insights Analyst at Omnicell plays a pivotal role in leveraging data analytics to support technical support and service organizations. The primary focus of this role is to transform complex operational, support, and service data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making, improve customer satisfaction, and optimize support operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to partner with cross-functional teams including Technical Support, IT, Data Engineering, Customer Success, and Commercial teams, utilizing advanced analytics, business intelligence, and emerging AI technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for solving business problems through data, with a strong emphasis on delivering measurable impact that aligns with Omnicell’s mission to improve healthcare outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Market Insights, or related analytical disciplines.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or programming languages such as Python or R for data querying and analysis.
• Experience working with structured datasets including operational, commercial, service, CRM, sales, or financial data.
• Ability to create clear and impactful dashboards, visualizations, summaries, and business recommendations.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Interest in applying generative AI tools and techniques to enhance analytical processes and outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve data quality issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present insights to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical support and field service data to identify trends, root causes, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports measuring key performance metrics such as support volume, response times, resolution times, escalation rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
• Evaluate performance across various segments including products, regions, support channels, and customer segments to uncover actionable insights.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements for reporting, systems enhancements, and process improvements.
• Partner closely with technical support leadership, data engineering, IT, and reporting teams to ensure analytics solutions align with business objectives.
• Create executive dashboards, scorecards, presentations, and analyses to support strategic reviews and operational decision-making.
• Monitor customer experience indicators such as CSAT, NPS, and customer effort to identify areas for improvement.
• Support AI and data science initiatives through data preparation, exploratory analysis, and interpretation of analytical outputs.
• Collaborate with commercial analytics teams to support sales, finance, customer success, and other business functions with insights and recommendations.
