About the Role
The Data & Information Technology Coordinator ensures the agency’s information technology is deployed, inventoried, and maintained to meet agency needs. This role manages information security and access-level permissions, protects agency data, maintains the school security camera network, and provides front-line Help Desk support for all staff and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Purchase, maintain, and track IT equipment
- Manage user accounts and subscriptions
- Implement security best practices to protect agency assets and confidential information
- Monitor and update software and databases as needed
- Produce reports on schedule and on demand
- Anticipate needs and recommend future investments to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Coordinate with service providers, contractors, and vendors to ensure continuous IT services and minimal interruptions
- Troubleshoot problems and provide regular technical support
- Ensure consistent, high-quality customer service
Requirements
- Minimum: Associate degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience
- All candidates must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Complete a physical examination, comprehensive fingerprinted criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen (including negative results for Amphetamines, Cannabinoids (including Marijuana/THC), Cocaine, Opiates, and Phencyclidine (PCP))
- Marijuana is prohibited in the workplace or in one's system, even if legally prescribed
Pay
- Associate degree: $22.62/hour
- Bachelor’s degree: $25.64/hour
- Master’s degree or higher: $28.67/hour
Schedule
- Full-time, year-round (12 months)
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours per week)
