Data Governance Analyst

We are seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support the implementation of data governance initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive reviews of existing data policies
• Identifying gaps and contributing to the development of new data governance policies aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements
• Playing a central role in the creation and facilitation of Data Governance Boards
• Cooking and managing board activities
• Preparing meeting agendas
• Documenting outcomes to ensure alignment with the overall data governance strategy

The ideal candidate must have:

• A BS or BA degree
• A minimum of 5 years' experience with process improvement/development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft SharePoint
• Experience with data analytics software tools
• The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

This role requires the analyst to promote best practices and establish a structured approach to data governance, thereby improving data quality, accessibility, and security, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
