Data-Focused Full Stack Engineer

Accountabilities

• Contribute to the development of data-driven products and AI-enabled experiences by designing, building, and improving scalable software solutions.
• Work across multiple layers of the technology stack while collaborating with diverse teams to deliver reliable, customer-focused systems.
• Build and maintain full-stack product features that leverage data and AI capabilities to enhance customer, agent, supervisor, and administrator experiences.
• Develop backend services, APIs, workflows, and integrations connecting product systems with data and AI technologies.
• Develop and maintain user-facing applications and interfaces using modern JavaScript and TypeScript technologies when needed.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in design reviews, code reviews, debugging, and production support.
• Take ownership of complex technical challenges by breaking down ambiguous problems and driving solutions from concept to delivery.
• Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to improving engineering practices and team standards.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate is a versatile software engineer with strong full-stack development skills, experience working with data-intensive systems, and an interest in building AI-powered solutions.
• You should be comfortable operating in a collaborative environment where initiative, adaptability, and technical ownership are highly valued.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with Python and experience building reliable software systems.
• Experience developing full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, or data-driven product features.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with data systems, pipelines, analytics workflows, or applications involving large-scale datasets.
• Interest in or experience with AI technologies, machine learning systems, LLM applications, virtual agents, automation, or intelligent software solutions.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control, debugging, and scalable system design.
• Ability to work across different areas of the technology stack and quickly learn unfamiliar tools and frameworks.
• Demonstrated ownership, self-motivation, and ability to make progress in ambiguous technical environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in distributed team settings.
• Experience working with cloud platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience building event-driven systems, workflow engines, queues, or distributed architectures.
• Familiarity with contact center, CRM, customer support, messaging, or telephony technologies.
• Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails.
