About the role
New York Edge is seeking a Data Specialist to join our team. The Data Specialist will be responsible for managing data entry and reporting for a particular program.
Responsibilities
- Enroll all participants into required web-based databases in a timely and accurate manner
- Enter the schedule and label activities into required databases
- Set up class rosters and maintain attendance sheets
- Record attendance on a weekly basis into all required systems
- Aid the Program Director in enhancing programming through the use of Data Reporting
- Create systems to track all documents
- Manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain effective working relationships with program staff
- Ensure program compliance and good standing with key stakeholders
Requirements
- Computer literacy
- College credits and/or degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software
- Prior experience with DYCD Connect, Cityspan, and/or EZ Reports is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are preferred
- Must be punctual, dependable, enthusiastic about NYE's mission
- May be required to walk up and down stairs and lift/move objects/materials as needed

Benefits
The Data Specialist will be compensated at a rate of $20-$25 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and education.
Schedule
This role is part-time, with up to 20 hours per week while school is in session and up to 25 hours per week while school is not in session. The schedule runs Monday through Friday.
