Data Entry Specialist
Job Summary
This role is heavily focused on data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling high volumes of data, and ensuring information is entered accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Enter and process a high volume of vendor invoices into the accounting system.
- Review invoices for accuracy and completeness before data entry.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records.
- Aid in resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
- Update vendor information and maintain accurate account records.
- Support the Accounts Payable team with administrative tasks and reporting.
- Work within multiple software systems to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Essential Skills
- Experience in Data Entry
- Proficiency in using a 10-key calculator
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- An Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred but not required
- 1–3 years of data entry (accounts payable experience NOT required)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
