About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Data Entry / Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Funeral Directors Life Arrangement Guide. This role is essential for ensuring accurate data entry and the effective use of Funeral Directors Life software, programs, and sales tools within the funeral industry.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Basic understanding of funeral home General Price Lists
  • Efficiently and accurately input data
  • Answer troubleshooting calls for various applications, programs, and sales tools
  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) duties including submitting detailed tickets
  • Participate actively in collaboration efforts
  • Be the primary point of contact for the sales team and funeral home representatives, providing in-depth knowledge to address requests and facilitate responses
  • Use good judgment to seek advice or escalate requests as necessary
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships
  • Knowledgeable of FDL product information to provide accurate information to customers
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting inquiries, complaints, and comments, and actions taken. Document all interactions in client and customer GIAS files using policy, funeral home, or agent notes
  • Communicate professionally via email or phone when contacting funeral homes, policy holders, agents, and managers
  • Exercise sound judgment by using available resources and critical thinking skills to offer options to customers when necessary
  • Communicate with leadership when customer requests or tasks exceed the level of training or knowledge to offer an educated response
