Data Entry Clerk/Laborer

About the Role

Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for a Temporary Data Entry Clerk/Laborer for the 2026 Shipping Season. This position reports to the Port Operations Supervisor and follows a rotation schedule of 2 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate data entry for port shipping logs
• Manual labor and clean-up of all conveyor systems
• Pre-moisture and moisture sampling during concentrate load out operations
• Responsible for concentrate load out, boom chute, and barge operations
• Safe operation of the truck dump system
• Operate and assist with VAC truck operation and clean-up
• Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Highly motivated with the ability to perform tasks with limited direction
• Adhere to high safety standards
• Ability to work day, afternoon, or night shifts as required
• Work outdoors with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions
• Perform labor-intensive work; physically capable of performing the essential functions of the trade
• Driver’s license preferred

Working Conditions

This is a fly-in, fly-out position located at Red Dog Mine, AK.

• Schedule: Two-weeks on / two-weeks off rotational schedule to support work-life balance.
