About the role
The Texas Business Center, located in Denton, TX just north of Dallas and Fort Worth, is seeking a dynamic and talented Payment Specialist. This full-time opportunity in the Patient Financial Services Department offers 40 hours per week, a convenient day schedule, and qualifies for a $1,000 sign-on bonus with a full-time one-year commitment.
Responsibilities
- Write up payments and enter notes into the system
- Prepare and review reports for cash balancing
- Maintain accurate cash logs
- Review accounts financial transactions
- Communicate with appropriate departments including the CFO
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in insurance billing and CPT coding
- Any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital business office
- Experience with billing, computers, and business software programs (Excel preferred)
- Flexible hours, including overtime, may be required
