Data Entry Clerk

Actalent is seeking an Eligibility Coordinator for a contract position based in Fort Wayne, IN. This role focuses on client intake and eligibility determination for programs and financial assistance, primarily processing utility assistance applications (mail-in and walk-in).

Responsibilities

• Enter scanned application information into two databases (state and internal) using a dual-monitor setup. Data includes bio information, PII, income, pay stubs, utility bills, and household details to determine eligibility and enrollment.
• Complete internal documents confirming application entry and save them to the client’s electronic file.
• Contact clients via phone to clarify missing or unclear application information.
• Mail final notifications to clients.
• Collaborate with client departments, programs, and services to ensure customer needs are met.
• Attend staff meetings and provide insight and feedback.

Skills

• Top Skills: Data entry, Microsoft Office, processing applications, words per minute (WPM), MS Teams.
• Additional Qualifications: Post-secondary education (nice to have), experience with dual monitors.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $16.50–$16.50/hr. Individual compensation within this range depends on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
