Data Entry Associate
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining account data while supporting office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update data into company systems, databases, and spreadsheets
- Review and verify data for errors or inconsistencies, ensuring accuracy
- Maintain organized records and files, both digital and physical
- Retrieve and compile data for reports as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and document management
- Occasional outbound calls to verify information or follow up on records
- Collaborate with internal teams to obtain or clarify missing or incomplete data
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Basic to intermediate computer skills required (Microsoft Office, data entry systems, navigation)
- Prior data entry or administrative experience preferred
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Mandatory attendance required throughout training
- Must have reliable transportation
What You Bring
- Knowledge of accounting principles including debit and credit functions
- Ability to balance and reconcile financial transactions
- Ability to discern the differences between a financial transaction and a non-financial transaction
- Thorough understanding of interconnected relationships between financial transactions and how they relate to other systems
- Thorough ability to follow published standard operation procedures as well as interpret instructions and notes from customers and associates on what the intent was of a financial transaction
- Ability to be at work on time, to return from breaks and lunch periods on time and to leave the work area after the end of their scheduled workday
Pay & Benefits
Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $28120 - $35150.
