About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering Community, which specializes in designing and optimizing data pipelines within a dynamic, matrix-style organization. This community acts as the connective tissue, aligning data strategies, sharing best practices, and accelerating innovation across various product-focused initiatives. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to develop analytics and pipelines aimed at discovering Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) on industrial control systems and operational technology assets within complex networks. Your expertise will be instrumental in re-architecting core data systems, establishing scalable data pipelines, and ensuring data governance compliance. You will collaborate closely with leadership, product engineering teams, and other stakeholders to deliver data solutions that enhance our cybersecurity offerings and support the company's strategic objectives. Responsibilities Lead cross-functional efforts to re-architect or modernize core data systems to improve efficiency and scalability.Create sustainable data contracts that meet data governance and compliance requirements.Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines supporting both cloud and on-premises environments.Develop real-time data processing solutions for configuration and asset communication pipelines to enable timely threat detection.Partner with leadership to align team efforts with the broader company data strategy and objectives.Collaborate with product engineering teams to deliver data solutions that enhance customer-facing products and services.Establish and contribute to shared tooling for observability, data lineage tracking, and configuration validation to ensure data integrity and transparency. Qualifications 10+ years of proven experience in data engineering, with a focus on scalable system architecture.Expertise in designing efficient data storage and processing systems, including data modeling techniques such as incremental, dimensional, network, and graph models.Strong cross-functional communication skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.Experience implementing data observability frameworks, designing robust data contracts, and optimizing data structures for performance and scalability.Proficiency in software development languages including Rust, Go, JVM-family languages, Python, and/or Node.js.Hands-on experience manipulating large datasets, particularly in cybersecurity or industrial data environments.Knowledge of integrating cloud and on-premises technologies, with deployments on Kubernetes and Docker.Experience working with message queues, stream processing, and deployable infrastructure for real-time data processing.Detailed domain knowledge in cybersecurity threat detection, threat intelligence, or Industrial Control Systems/Operational Technology (ICS/OT) operations.
