Job Description
- Data Engineering Functions:
- Data modeling
- Data quality
- Data profiling
- Data acquisition and ingestion
- Extract Transform Load (ETL)
- Metadata enrichment and management
- Data provenance and lineage
- Other specialized data management functions
Education & Experience
- Required:
- Degree, Postgraduate Degree, or Technical Certificate in Data Management or related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering)
- 5+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Understanding of Data Models and ability to create Basic Data Models
- Experience in analyzing and performance tuning SQL queries
- Good experience in Banking/Financial Domain
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
- Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Synapse Dedicated Pool, or Oracle
- Drive to uplift knowledge and support for Unity Catalog and Databricks Lakehouse
