Data Engineer III
Job Details
- Lead end to end. Design, build, test, deploy, and continuously improve advanced data pipelines and engineering solutions.
- Drive real impact. Prioritize and deliver multiple high-stakes projects without dropping the ball on quality.
- Make quality non-negotiable. Establish data quality standards with automated tests, anomaly detection, and freshness SLAs.
- Own the modeling layer. Write and govern canonical dbt models in Snowflake using dimensional modeling principles — standardizing patterns, - enforcing testing and documentation, and managing project structure across domains.
- Define one source of truth. Build and maintain a consistent semantic layer — metric definitions, business logic, and entity relationships — so everything stays aligned across Looker, our MCP server, and AI consumers, no matter the tooling.
- Strengthen the foundation. Spot infrastructure improvements that cut cost, boost reliability, and eliminate single points of failure.
- Keep the platform humming. Support Snowflake and Looker administration alongside the rest of the data platform team.
