Data Engineer

About the role

The Data Warehouse Engineer at TRIMEDX plays a crucial part in creating and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports our clients, patients, and communities. Our team collaborates closely to ensure that our systems meet the needs of our diverse user base.

Responsibilities

• Develop data warehouse objects and the underlying framework metadata.
• Collaborate to evaluate data warehouse designs.
• Implement, test, and deliver new features for multiple platforms.
• Coordinate with QA team to initiate testing and ensure testing is completed.
• Design framework and metadata standards and suggest improvements for data models.
• Confirm that data model designs support the integration of data and reporting/informatics.
• Analyze and recommend improvements to data model designs based on common conceptual models.
• Identify inefficiencies in design and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of specific data warehouse methodology and frameworks within the context of assigned business domain, product, or service.
• Experience in developing, testing, and implementing warehouse metadata/objects.
• Experience in analyzing and making recommendations on the impact of data model design.
• Ability to solve problems using logical and analytical thinking.
• Experience in collaboration, data analysis, and logical data modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software coding and development preferred.
