Data Engineer II

Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop high-volume, low-latency, data-driven solutions utilizing current and next generation technologies to meet evolving business needs.
- Acquire big data input from numerous partners.
- Normalize complicated data sources to convert potentially unusable data into a format that can be efficiently used by software and/or employees.
- Build a CI/CD pipeline for our data software to ensure quality is kept high and time to market low.
Qualifications
Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering or a closely related field plus 2 years of experience in job offered or similar roles.
Skills
2 years of experience with the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- Data streaming technologies (Kafka)
- ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) concepts
- Querying and designing databases using MySQL, MS SQL or Oracle SQL
- WindRiver Studio Cloud Platform (or other 5G telco distributed containerized cloud) for intelligent edge systems
- Python, Airflow, Prometheus, Mimir, Loki, Grafana
- Spark, Kinesis, Lambda, Gitlab
