About the Opportunity: The Data Engineer II role is an individual contributor position responsible for developing and maintaining ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and data models. This role supports the organization’s ability to analyze and utilize data from various products, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and scalability. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and contributes to continuous improvement of the data architecture. 3. Responsibilities: Build and enhance ETL pipelines incorporating data from all productsWrite efficient, maintainable code using modern tools and AI agentsEnsure quality and reliability of ETL processesDefine data models and develop reports within the analytics platformCollaborate with data team members and other functional areasPromote best practices and continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in architecting scalable data platformsMentor less experienced team members 4. Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environmentsProficient with dbtAt least 3 years experience with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, or AWS RedshiftStrong expertise in MS SQL ServerExperience with data architecture across various database types and formatsSkilled in building data pipelines for data cleaning, enrichment, and transformationPython experience is highly desirableKnowledge of database design and tuningFamiliarity with version control systems (Azure DevOps, Git) and CI/CD concepts 5. Preferred Skills: Experience in horizontally scaling systemsExperience with Claude Code for ETL and data modelingExperience creating reports and dashboards using modern analytics platformsExposure to Microsoft Fabric or other cloud data stacksUnderstanding of message/event-driven and distributed systems architecturesExperience with systems integration 6.
