Data Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a dynamic technology consulting firm that specialises in delivering cutting-edge data solutions to its enterprise clients. They are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise enterprise-scale data engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise enterprise-scale data engineering solutions
• Develop scalable data pipelines
• Implement modern cloud-based data architectures
• Work with large-scale distributed data processing technologies
• Develop ETL pipelines and enterprise data integration solutions
• Work in Agile development environments

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience with a strong Data Engineering background
• 4–6+ years of recent hands-on experience designing, building, and scaling enterprise data pipelines
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, including Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog
• Strong experience with AWS services, including Amazon S3, IAM, and AWS Networking
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Data Modeling, and Distributed Processing
• Experience building modern cloud-based Data Engineering solutions
