About the role
We are seeking Level 1 and Level 2 Data Center Technicians to support the construction, deployment, and maintenance of a next-generation data center campus in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Responsibilities
- Inside Plant Operations:
- Install and support server racks, cabinets, network equipment, and related hardware.
- Structured cabling installation, termination, labeling, and testing.
- Fiber optic and copper cabling systems installation and troubleshooting.
- Support hardware deployment, rack-and-stack activities, and equipment moves.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, power systems, and environmental controls.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful infrastructure deployment.
- Outside Plant Operations:
- Assist with installation and maintenance of fiber optic infrastructure between buildings and network entry points.
- Fiber termination, testing, and documentation activities.
- Coordination with contractors and vendors during infrastructure installations.
- Inspection of outside plant assets and identification of potential risks or maintenance needs.
- Maintenance of accurate documentation of routes, installations, and system updates.
Requirements
- Structured cabling installation and support.
- Fiber optic installation, termination, and testing.
- Experience working with low-voltage systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Experience operating in construction, utility, telecommunications, or data center environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Inside and outside plant experience.
- Data center construction or deployment experience.
- Hardware installation and rack-and-stack experience.
- Understanding of HVAC, backup power, and environmental systems.
- Experience coordinating with contractors and vendors.
- Familiarity with enterprise network infrastructure.
Skills
- LV-G Low Voltage License (or equivalent experience).
- LV-C Low Voltage Communications License (or equivalent experience).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
