Data Center Technician - Fort Wayne, IN

Location: Fort Wayne, IN – 40 positions available. Start date ASAP.

About the role

6-month contract position (40–45 hours per week) installing and decommissioning network and cabling infrastructure in a data-center environment. Hours are typically 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Monday–Friday, subject to change.

All applicants must pass a full background check, drug screen, and employment verification. Relocation expenses are not provided.

Responsibilities

• Install and decommission network and cabling infrastructure in a data-center environment.
• Deliver sustainable, repeatable solutions and processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Provide structured feedback on project progress to stakeholders.
• Maintain quality workmanship and data-center cleanliness.
• Follow all production, safety, and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Read and comprehend blueprints, building documentation, and redline work.
• Demonstrate broad understanding of data-center infrastructure technologies.

Pay

Hourly W2 rate plus paid overtime, PTO, and health coverage.

Schedule

40–45 hours per week, typically 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Monday–Friday (subject to change).
