Data Center Technician
Responsibilities
- On-site technical support for the HPC environment (SGI 8600 compute systems and supporting infrastructure)
- Hardware repair, maintenance, replacement, and troubleshooting
- Administration and operational support for HPCM cluster management (nice to have)
- Support for the DMF storage environment, including coordinating upgrades and system health monitoring, working with DMF team
- CDU cooling system maintenance and troubleshooting
- Hardware diagnostics and coordination with the site admin to maintain system stability
- Supporting the site administrator as needed
- HPC experience is not required but is a plus
- Technical skills in hardware repair and maintenance
- Experience with SGI 8600 compute systems and related infrastructure
- Knowledge of HPCM cluster management (nice to have)
- Experience with DMF storage environments
- Understanding of CDU cooling systems
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Technical proficiency in hardware diagnostics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
