Data Center Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor data center operations and check for emergent alerts through monitoring platforms.
• Perform rack and stack installations, ensuring proper power and asset management.
• Perform troubleshooting and in-depth repairs of hardware and hypervisor issues, following documented processes.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration with the datacenter capacity team and R&D personnel.
• Work within the Phoenix site on cabling, monitoring, and team building activities.
• Assist as part of a team of on-site contacts for the Networking, Automation, and Capacity teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data center operations or a related field.
• Proficient in asset management and infrastructure monitoring systems.
• Strong coordination skills for managing complex tasks autonomously.
• Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 100 lbs) with assistance.
• Experience following documented processes to provide hardware and logistic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with data center tools, office productivity software, and ticket management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and grow through on‑the‑job training.
• Integrity and strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
