About the role

Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain large-scale GPU clusters and high-performance computing systems
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair GPU servers, networking equipment, and associated hardware
- Perform hardware diagnostics and coordinate large-scale fiber optic connectivity
- Execute precise hardware migrations and rack installations
- Maintain data center infrastructure including power, cooling, and environmental systems
- Perform routine maintenance on servers, storage systems, and networking equipment
- Support optimal performance and availability of deployed systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and network connectivity issues
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
- Document all work performed in accordance with company and industry standards
- Adhere to applicable laws, rules, and regulations (e.g., OSHA, NEC)
- Conduct quality control checks on all installations and deployments
- Maintain clean room standards and proper electrostatic discharge procedures
Requirements
- Technical Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in data center operations or hardware deployment
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking equipment, and data center infrastructure
- Experience with GPU systems, high-performance computing, or AI infrastructure preferred
- Proficiency with fiber optic installations and network cabling
- Understanding of power distribution, cooling systems, and environmental monitoring
- Core Competencies:
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces
- Availability during nights, weekends, or non-standard hours as needed
Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Server+, Data center or network infrastructure certifications, Fiber optic installation certification, Vendor-specific certifications (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel)
