Data Center Technician
A summary
Data Center Technicians support AWS customers in multiple locations, ensuring high availability and reliability of data center operations. They perform tasks such as server rack installations, hardware repairs, network troubleshooting, and incident response. The role involves shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and requires a reliable personal vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Perform server rack installations, hardware break-fix, and network troubleshooting
- Respond to operational incidents that impact service availability, escalating to senior technicians and management as needed
- Serve as a primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, software developers, vendors, and contractors
- Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives based on operational issues
- Help train and onboard new team members
Requirements
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
- 1+ years of computer networking experience

Pay
The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
USA, MD, Frederick - 27.00 - 48.00 USD hourly
Schedule
