Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer support to both local and international colocation clients, handling requests via a web-based ticketing system for services like access requests, equipment troubleshooting, and order processing.
- Perform regular facility walkthroughs, inspecting critical electrical and mechanical equipment, and logging readings to ensure proper operation and facility conditions.
- Support customer deployments and facility expansions, including executing sales orders, preparing new customer environments, and assisting with rack & stack tasks.
- Assist with physical security monitoring, managing access control, and handling client deliveries, including receiving, storing, and shipping packages.
- Maintain detailed records of all facility activities, including incident logs, inventory management, and maintenance events, while ensuring professional, ethical interactions with customers, contractors, and colleagues.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; 2 years of experience in data centers or a related technical field.
- Industry certifications or an associate degree in a technical area are preferred.
- Basic understanding of data center cooling and power systems is a plus.
- 2 years of experience in customer service, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite.
- Commitment to maintaining a safety-first approach in all tasks and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 2:00 PM-6:00 PM; rotating on-call schedule every 3-4 weeks.
Pay
$58,000-$62,000 per year.
