Data center technican 3 (Night Shift), DCO

Amazon’s Data Center Operations (DCO) team deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots the IT hardware that powers Amazon’s data centers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware failures, identify root causes, and repair or replace failing components
• Respond to network failures (e.g., link outages, rack-downs) and high-priority hardware repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
• Knowledge of network design, protocols, and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting
