Data Center Sr. Construction Project Manager (Fredericksburg, VA)
This role is part of the Project Management function and is based onsite full-time in Fredericksburg, VA. You will provide consulting services to help achieve strategic business objectives by managing real estate projects from initiation through completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
- Work directly with clients to prepare project scope, delivery resource requirements, cost estimates, budgets, work plans, schedules, milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
- Define project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through a project qualification process, including conducting RFPs, bid evaluations, and recommending resources to clients.
- Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
- Ensure project data integrity and documentation accuracy, timeliness, and coordination.
- Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance to achieve project goals.
- Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule; track progress and report status and variances.
- Identify project threats, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce risks.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others and share expertise across job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with company values, and work to build consensus.
- Impact customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and related teams.
- Work within broad guidelines and policies, and explain difficult or sensitive information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on analyzing multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills, including calculating percentages, fractions, and financial-related figures.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $190,000 annually, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on the applicable benefit program.
