NOW HIRING: DATA CENTER SITE LEADER Job Code: GTUS110441 Job Title: Data Center Site Leader / Site Lead Location: Lowell, MA Duration: 12 Months Experience: 15+ Years Employment: W2 Only Work Authorization: USC / H4 EAD Only Job Description We are seeking a strong Data Center Site Leader to oversee daily activities at a customer site in Lowell, Massachusetts. The Site Lead will coordinate work across teams, manage build operations, support escalations, and serve as the primary point of contact for onsite activities. Key Responsibilities Lead daily onsite data center operations and provide technical direction to Data Center Technicians. Oversee installation, rack-and-stack, cabling, deployment, troubleshooting, break/fix, and decommissioning of high-density compute and networking infrastructure. Support direct-to-chip liquid cooling (DLC) environments, including CDUs, cooling loops, manifolds, hoses, quick disconnects, and monitoring systems. Troubleshoot liquid-cooling alarms, leaks, flow/pressure issues, temperature abnormalities, and CDU-related incidents. Monitor power, cooling, temperature, humidity, and hardware health. Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, and escalations. Coordinate onsite work across engineering, networking, facilities, vendors, logistics, and remote operations teams. Manage technician priorities, assignments, ticket queues, maintenance activities, and shift handoffs. Ensure accurate documentation, asset management, change control, SOPs/MOPs, and operational reporting. Enforce safety procedures around electrical, mechanical, and liquid-cooled infrastructure. Required Skills 15+ years of experience in data center operations, infrastructure, or mission-critical environments. Experience leading technicians or onsite data center operations. Strong hands-on knowledge of servers, GPU/compute systems, networking equipment, structured cabling, rack infrastructure, and power distribution. Experience with high-density compute and liquid-cooled data center environments strongly preferred. Knowledge of CDUs, DLC systems, cooling loops, leak detection, flow/pressure monitoring, and liquid-cooling procedures. Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, networking, power, cooling, and environmental infrastructure. Experience with ticketing, DCIM, asset management, change management, and operational documentation. Ability to coordinate multiple technical teams and serve as the primary onsite escalation point. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced 24x7 data center environment.
