About the role

The Data Center Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of one or more data centers located in various remote locations across the United States. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of data center facilities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Manage and mentor a team of data center technicians and engineers
• Develop and implement strategies to improve data center efficiency and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
• Perform on-site inspections and audits to ensure facility safety and security

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data center management or IT operations
• Proven track record of managing teams and leading projects
• Experience with data center infrastructure, including cooling systems, power distribution, and network connectivity
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industry-standard data center certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
• Experience with data center automation tools and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel up to 20% for on-site visits

Pay
