Data Center Security Specialist

About the role

AWS is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Data Center Security Specialist to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. You will help manage and improve site security operations in our data centers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations and work with security vendors/contractors
• Apply physical security best practices, including systems, investigation techniques, and contract security guard management
• Collaborate with various AWS teams to maintain high standards for safety and security
• Ensure compliance with AWS policies and industry standards
• Support the continuous improvement of security protocols and processes

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with physical security best practices, including application of physical security systems, investigation techniques, and management of contract security guards

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $28.00 - $50.00 USD per hour.
