Data Center Power and Cooling Delivery Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage installation and commissioning of liquid cooling systems, CDUs, and liquid-cooled servers
  • Manage the maintenance and water-testing schedule, results, and remediation actions for water quality at all global installations
  • Cook up site readiness, logistics, and deployment sequencing
  • Provide technical oversight across power, HVAC, and thermal systems
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and operational handoff
  • Deploy and commission secondary cooling infrastructure, including DLC manifolds, heat exchangers, pumps, and piping systems
  • Install and configure cooling system components according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform system checks, pressure testing, and leak detection to ensure operational readiness
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks such as filter changes, flow validation, and sensor calibration
  • Document installation procedures, test results, and maintenance activities

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial cooling systems, HVAC, or data center infrastructure deployment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments or hyperscale data center
  • Customer support background with exposure to technical infrastructure drawings
  • Knowledge of building management systems (BMS) and remote monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with chilled water systems, DLC, or other liquid-based cooling technologies
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, PIDs, and installation schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in data center environments
  • OSHA 10/30 or similar safety certification (plus)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
