Data Center Physical Security Specialist, AMER-SW Data Center Security

Key job responsibilities

• Cook up the activities of a professional contract guard force and oversee vendor deliverables at your assigned site or campus
• Track service delivery against established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and escalate corrective actions to senior team members as needed
• Conduct inspections, audits, and walkthroughs to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with AWS security standards and policies
• Interface with vendors to coordinate system repairs, preventative maintenance, and new security construction
• Foster relationships with data center stakeholders to educate on security procedures and reduce false alarms
• Review and approve operational work activities that potentially affect physical security
• Provide guidance and support to vendors in the absence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or in situations that require escalation
• Extract metrics and analyze data to observe trends and drive improvements in security operations
• Collaborate with data center operations, colocation providers, and partner teams to accomplish operational consistency
• Support the development and implementation of security processes and procedures

Basic Qualifications
