Data Center Manager - HF Systematic Trading and Technology

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations and capacity of data centers
• Offer mentorship and guidance to technicians and other team members to foster their professional growth
• Construct, deploy, and resolve issues with servers, storage systems, network devices, and copper/fiber cabling
• Introduce improvements to procedures and protocols
• Cook up daily tasks and workflows
• Aid in forecasting future site needs
• Manage vendor relationships

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of expertise in overseeing data center operations and leading teams
• Proficiency in building, deploying, and troubleshooting servers, storage systems, network devices, and copper/fiber cabling
• Demonstrated aptitude in project management and successful delivery of projects
• Prominent ability to effectively manage vendor relationships and drive positive outcomes
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
