Amazon Web Services is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill Data center Logistics Specialist positions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to Safety & Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities
  • Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data center Technicians and Engineers
  • Load and unload shipments and transport parts between different locations
  • Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all work spaces
  • Ensure that all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate, validated and ready for processing
  • Assemble, address, stamp and arrange for the shipment of merchandise and materials
  • Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations
  • Understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e forklift or cherry picker)

Physical and Environmental Demands

All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodation. Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time. Typically work is in a warehouse or data center environment where the noise level is moderate to loud. Occasionally assist in loading and unloading shipments. Occasionally exposed to extreme cold or hot weather.

Work Environment: You are a role model for safety behavior and culture. Thrive and contribute to a work culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion. Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts. Noise level varies and can be loud. Temperature between 60 and 90 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 90 degrees.

Schedule

  • Must be available to work weekend shift work

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems
  • Warehouse Management Software / Inventory Management Software proficiency
  • Familiar with waybills and shipping procedures with transport companies
  • Ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager

Pay

USA, OR, Hermiston - $24.00 - $42.00 USD hourly. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
