Data Center Junior Logistics Specialist

We're seeking a Logistics Specialist for a 12-month contract to support critical AWS data center infrastructure projects. In this role, you'll help manage the flow of materials used to deploy fiber networking systems that power next-generation cloud and AI technologies. This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates with warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience who enjoy staying organized and working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, organize, and track incoming materials and inventoryPerform inventory audits, cycle counts, and maintain accurate recordsMove materials between warehouses and data center locationsLoad, unload, and organize pallets and inventoryCoordinate shipment and delivery updates with internal teamsUpdate inventory and transportation information using Excel, Smartsheet, and other tracking systemsSupport material requests to ensure projects remain on scheduleCommunicate effectively with project teams regarding inventory status and material availability Qualifications Logistics, warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or material handling experienceExperience with inventory tracking, audits, or cycle counts preferredBasic Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, and data entryComfortable learning new systems and tracking toolsAbility to lift up to 40 pounds independentlyValid driver's license and ability to travel between nearby work sitesStrong organizational and communication skillsHigh school diploma or GED required Schedule & Work Environment Full-time, onsite positionMonday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PMOvertime opportunities available with approvalWork will take place across multiple warehouse and data center locations within a short driving distanceCollaborative team environment with strong day-to-day interaction and support Why Apply? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New Carlisle, IN. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.53 - $17.53/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
