Data Center Integration Program Lead

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Lead complex integration projects involving compute, storage, networking, GPU, and data center infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain integration standards, procedures, and quality-control processes.
  • Establish repeatable deployment methodologies for customer environments.
  • Serve as the technical escalation point for integration challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the integration operation.

Data Center Infrastructure Services

  • Oversee rack integration, cable management, power distribution, and deployment validation.
  • Review customer requirements and translate them into deployment plans.
  • Ensure deployments align with industry best practices and data center standards.
  • Develop commissioning and acceptance-testing procedures.

Network, Compute, and Storage Integration

  • Perform and validate infrastructure configurations including: Ethernet switching, wireless infrastructure, compute platforms, storage systems, GPU and AI clusters.
  • Develop standardized validation and burn-in processes.
  • Support customer-specific deployment requirements and custom integration workflows.

Liquid Cooling Program Development

  • Help launch and operationalize the company's liquid-cooling integration practice.
  • Work with facilities and engineering teams to establish safety and quality standards.
  • Develop technician training programs for liquid-cooling blade-fill project.

Program Growth & Service Development

  • Identify opportunities to expand integration services.
  • Evaluate new technologies and deployment methodologies.
  • Develop service offerings that extend beyond physical installation into validation, testing, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Support pre-sales discussions and technical scoping activities.

Customer Engagement

  • Participate in technical discovery (pre-sales) meetings.
  • Review deployment requirements and statements of work.
  • Provide technical guidance during project planning.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor for infrastructure deployment projects.

Technical Background

  • Data Center Infrastructure: Rack integration and deployment, structured cabling systems, power distribution, data center operations, physical infrastructure standards.
  • Networking: Layer 2/Layer 3 fundamentals, enterprise switching, VLANs, routing protocols, high-speed data center networking.
  • Compute & Storage: Server platforms, virtualization technologies, storage architectures, GPU infrastructure, firmware and hardware validation.
  • Liquid Cooling (Preferred but not required): Direct-to-chip cooling, CDU systems, thermal management concepts, commissioning and validation procedures.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an IT role involving testing and configuring data center hardware.
  • A deep understanding of file transfer protocols.
  • Experience working with Linux-based systems and Python.
  • A fundamental understanding of network, storage, and compute systems.
  • IT-related certificates and/or a technical degree are a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work with customers to resolve problems and identify solutions.
  • Reliable - shows up on time as scheduled and ready to work.
  • Quick and efficient - works hard to complete assignments and meet goals.
  • Autonomous - manages own time efficiently to effectively execute projects.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the warehouse, as this is a full-time, onsite position.
