Job Summary
The Data Center Environmental Permitting Program Manager will lead environmental due diligence, permitting acquisition, and approval processes for ground-up data center development projects. This role will manage environmental compliance activities throughout site acquisition, design, and construction phases.

- Manage environmental compliance activities throughout site acquisition, design, and construction phases.
- Develop and maintain permitting schedules, identify regulatory risks, and implement mitigation strategies to support project timelines.
- Cook up with internal stakeholders including Legal, Design, Construction, Operations, and external regulatory agencies to secure required approvals.
- Oversee environmental impact assessments, cultural and ecological surveys, and environmental program development to support infrastructure delivery.
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of environmental permitting and approvals experience, including environmental impact assessments, permit acquisition, and regulatory review processes.
- 5+ years of experience conducting environmental due diligence and risk assessments for greenfield and brownfield sites, including environmental site assessments and remediation activities.
- Working knowledge of environmental permitting programs and regulations, including air quality, USACE Section 404 permitting, threatened and endangered species requirements, SPCC, and cultural resources compliance.
- Experience supporting mission-critical facilities, data centers, or large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
