Data Center Engineer
Responsibilities
- Assess and optimize power, cooling, and space capacity across data center environments.
- Analyze and support critical electrical infrastructure, including utility services, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and power distribution.
- Review one-line diagrams, engineering designs, and resiliency/failover strategies.
- Develop capacity planning models and infrastructure utilization reports.
- Utilize DCIM, telemetry, and monitoring tools to improve operational visibility and performance.
- Support data center builds, upgrades, commissioning, and expansion projects.
- Partner with construction teams, utility providers, vendors, and facility stakeholders to deliver infrastructure initiatives.
Requirements
- Data Center Capacity Planning (Power, Cooling & Space) – Capacity forecasting, workload placement optimization, and infrastructure utilization analysis.
- Critical Facilities Engineering – Experience with UPS, switchgear, generators, cooling systems, one-line diagram review, and resiliency/failover engineering.
- DCIM, Telemetry & Infrastructure Analytics – Hands-on experience with DCIM platforms, monitoring tools, telemetry, and infrastructure analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Center Engineering, Critical Facilities Engineering, or Mission-Critical Infrastructure.
- Experience supporting colocation, enterprise, or hyperscale data centers.
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering experience within data center environments.
- Experience with infrastructure expansions, commissioning, and operational readiness.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.53 - $60.53/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
