Our teams keep the digital economy running around the clock without interruption. We are seeking a Data Center Electrical Manager to lead specialized technical operations. This critical role requires a professional with deep, hands-on data center experience, including complex infrastructure like cooling systems, redundant power supplies, and strict uptime requirements. Your technical expertise will directly protect our clients' most valuable digital assets. You will lead skilled engineering teams and manage complex vendor networks to maintain industry-leading operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees, including monitoring training, development, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, scheduling, task assignment, and cross-training of staff.
  • Set and track department deadlines and mentor team members as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and address unresolved facility issues.
  • Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
  • Perform facility inspections and quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
  • Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, invoicing, and procurement of parts, services, and labor.
  • Conduct training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
  • Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Influence parties to reach agreements and resolve day-to-day or moderately complex issues.
  • Apply knowledge of your discipline and its integration with others to achieve team objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Facility Management certification preferred.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance measurement, and retention.
  • Ability to guide sensitive, complicated, or difficult information exchanges and convey performance expectations.
  • Leadership skills to motivate teams and impact quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills, including calculating percentages, fractions, and financial-related figures.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
