Data Center Cooling Technician

Responsibilities

• Commission, service, and repair mechanical and electrical systems for data center cooling projects
• Review blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work orders to plan and execute service tasks efficiently
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues through root cause analysis
• Cookordinate with engineers, contractors, and customers to ensure top performance
• Provide professional, reliable service while representing Nortek in the field
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED (technical or trade school preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment service
• EPA 608 certification
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• The ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as projects require
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
