Data Center Cable Install Technician

What's the Job?

Install, inspect, and troubleshoot structured copper and fiber optic cabling in data center environments.

Perform physical installation of network and server racks, patch panels, and related devices.

Cook up daily material delivery, movement, and installation of enterprise IT equipment.

Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all infrastructure components.

Utilize ticketing systems and communication tools to track and report the status of tasks.

What's Needed?

• A high school diploma or GED
• Technical certifications (e.g., BICSI, CompTIA) are a plus
• 1+ years of experience in IT support, infrastructure installation, or cabling
• Solid understanding of computer hardware, networking devices, switches, and servers
• Comfortable working in physical, hands-on roles involving cable termination, racking, and equipment deployment
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Pay

$23.50 per hour

Schedule

Wed-Sat (10 hours) 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
