About the role

Seeking dedicated personnel to support the US Space Force (USSF) Enterprise Talent Management (ETM) Office in technical, operational, and support advisory and assistance services to fulfill its missions executing all human resource and career progression programs for the USSF.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Build dashboards utilizing Power BI, Python, and SQL
  • Support research, analysis and assessing available information to draw conclusions supporting enterprise talent management that drives policy or resourcing decisions
  • Receive written, graphic and analytic content from team members and concisely arrange the information in a logical, appealing way to leaders
  • Apply knowledge of basic statistics, charts and graphs in support of data collection, data extract and cleaning, data visualization, data queries, model execution, and analysis support
  • Participate in client engagements to analyze and determine functional needs of knowledge management systems
  • Communicate via ETMS2 (TMT), Teams, email, and staffing mediums

Minimum qualifications

  • Capable of providing support for Programmatic and Communication techniques and processes to support stakeholder requirements
  • Has specialized relevant knowledge, works as a member of team, and assists with solving complex problems
  • Bachelor's degree (may be substituted with 4 years of relevant work experience)
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Prior work experience with DoD
  • Must have a SECRET security clearance

Computer skills

  • Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
  • Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Language skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and/or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical skills

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.

Physical demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to write and type on a computer. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb, or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work environment

Job duties are performed in a manufacturing/office environment utilizing standard office equipment such as a computer, photocopier, and telephone. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
