Data & Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role
As a Data & Business Intelligence Analyst, you will help drive business performance by transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to develop reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that optimize business operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop subject matter expertise of data content & structure to perform analysis and develop transformation & enhancement rules for data from a wide variety of source systems (internal & external).
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to support data ingestion and reporting solutions to our Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Serve as a key point of contact and collaborate on the design, development, and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and analytic tools.
- Partner with business and technical teams to gather and document requirements.
- Create prototype solutions to validate business cases and reporting needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and reporting issues.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and deliver actionable business insights.
- Create training materials and deliver user training on reporting tools and analytics solutions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 1+ years of experience delivering business intelligence or analytics solutions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong data analysis capabilities.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or similar analytics platforms.
- Exposure to Microsoft data and analytics technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Power BI, or SQL preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
- Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and motivated to continually learn and grow.
Pay
$64,996 - $97,449 annually plus bonus. A starting salary higher than $64,996 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements.
