Data Business Analyst

About the Role

Odyssey Systems has an opportunity for a Journeyman Data Business Analyst supporting the NC3 Contract, specifically the GASNTi1 & GASNTi2 program offices within the Nuclear Networks Division (NCN). This full-time position is located at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, and supports the AFNWC/NC3 Integration Directorate.

Responsibilities

• Use business intelligence data for predictive analytics and implementation of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, PMRT, and Power BI.
• Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques using Microsoft Excel and data visualization platforms including Tableau, Qlik Sense, PMRT, and Power BI.
• Apply analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis.
• Analyze and process data while creating and maintaining models and report templates.
• Develop dynamic, data-driven solutions using data engineering tools such as Databricks or low-code/no-code platforms including Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Recommend and implement performance measures including efficiency metrics and statistical indicators.
• Provide customers with detailed, actionable reports documenting findings to support program management, financial management, and acquisition activities.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must have and maintain a Secret clearance.
• BA/BS in a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in data visualization, data management, data governance, data strategy, data policy, or data engineering.
• 2+ years of experience designing, creating, and maintaining analytics and visualization platforms using Tableau and Power BI.
• 2+ years of experience engaging with clients, gathering requirements, and implementing analytics or visualization solutions.
• Experience querying and analyzing data to answer questions and solve problems.
• Experience visualizing data to communicate key insights.
• Knowledge of business analysis or business intelligence tools and methodologies.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving organizational processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• MA/MS in an analytical field.
• 3–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Query, Databricks, or SQL for data engineering.
• Experience developing applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Ability to synthesize analytical results and deliver briefings or presentations to product owners and stakeholders.

Location & Travel

This position is located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. Occasional travel may be required based on program needs.
