Data Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced analyst to support enterprise data, migration, integration, or modernization programs in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document data requirements and business requirements.
• Perform data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and root-cause analysis using SQL.
• Create and maintain source-to-target mapping documents and transformation/business-rule specifications.
• Work with data warehouses, data lakes/lakehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and enterprise reporting environments.
• Design and execute UAT scenarios and collaborate with business stakeholders through validation and sign-off.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable requirements for Data Engineering, QA, and BI teams.
• Trace data issues across multiple systems and transformation layers.
• Develop solutions using Power BI or other enterprise BI/reporting platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation, communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
