Responsibilities

  • Oversee administration and compliance for all standardized testing (state, district, and national assessments)
  • Develop and implement a system-wide assessment calendar in collaboration with academic leadership
  • Manage vendor relationships related to assessments and data platforms
  • Ensure security and fidelity in testing procedures and reporting
  • Prepare academic data reports for the Executive Director, Managing Director of Academics, School Leaders, and other stakeholders
  • Act as a key guide to Principals on making responsive and timely data-driven decisions with action plans to change teaching practice
  • Design and maintain data dashboards, reports, and tools that inform instruction, school improvement, and strategic planning
  • Analyze trends in student achievement and other key performance indicators (e.g., attendance, behavior, graduation rates)
  • Lead the collection and reporting of data for accountability to state and federal agencies
  • Provide timely data insights to support real-time instructional adjustments and long-term planning
  • Train and support school leaders and teachers in interpreting and using data to drive decisions
  • Provide high-quality instructional & cultural coaching with consistent teacher observations, actionable feedback, and accountability for adjustment in practice to positively impact student learning
  • Collaborate with instructional teams to embed data-driven practices into professional development and coaching
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through actionable, user-friendly data dissemination
  • Monitor and report on progress toward all organizational goals and accountability metrics
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Special Education, English Learners, Operations) to ensure data accuracy and compliance
  • Support with the planning and development of academic programming for middle and high school growth
  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of instructional technology programming
  • Support with developing and maintaining curriculum pacing and mapping for ELA, mathematics, and science

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, required
  • Master’s degree, preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Google Suite
  • Experience managing a team, coaching teachers, and/or designing a curriculum
  • Minimum 2 years of school leadership experience required
  • Detailed knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements for K-12 schools
