Data Architect - National Capital Region (NCR); Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph

About the role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing data architectures that support organizational goals. This includes working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, developing scalable solutions, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data architectures that meet business requirements and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with overall IT strategy.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data architecture design and implementation.
• Ensure data integrity and security through adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data architecture.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture, preferably in a government or defense environment.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience with data modeling, database design, and cloud computing platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with data governance and compliance processes.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies.

Skills

• Proficiency in SQL and other query languages.
• Familiarity with data modeling tools such as ERwin or Toad.
• Experience with data quality management tools.
• Understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
