About the Role
This Data Architect will design and govern the data layer of a customer’s Ad Order Management System, focusing on scalable data models, cloud-native solutions, and integration with existing and future-state architectures.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable data models for ad delivery, audience segmentation, campaign reporting, and billing that align with clients' existing systems and future-state architecture.
- Map relationships and dependencies, understanding how data flows between systems today and preserving implicit dependencies in the new architecture.
- Perform data exploration or Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on raw datasets to uncover key characteristics for AdSales Systems and build a comprehensive understanding of the current-state data landscape.
- Profile existing data sources, inventory, and characterize data assets, assessing data quality and identifying gaps or inconsistencies.
- Define data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration patterns across batch and real-time streams (e.g., ad impressions, click events, audience signals).
- Architect cloud-native data solutions using AWS services aligned to the approved tech stack, such as RDBMS, Graph, RAG, and Vector DBs.
- Design integration points between clients' legacy systems and the new microservices-based platform, ensuring well-defined and documented data flows.
- Establish data governance standards, including lineage, cataloging, access controls, and compliance with clients' privacy and security requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the AWS ProServe team and customer engineering to ensure alignment across workstreams.
- Maintain data architecture artifacts, including ERDs, data flow diagrams, schema definitions, and data dictionaries.
Requirements
- Must have experience designing data models for Real-Time Inventory, Order Management, and/or Logistics and Supply Chain Systems.
Benefits
- Comprehensive Medical Plan covering medical, dental, and vision.
- Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage.
