Role Responsibilities
- Participate in business development activities to showcase Coastal skills in the data disciplines.
- Avoid unnecessary data migrations and identify when data enrichment is necessary.
- Lead the implementation team through all phases of the life cycle, including design, build, s, deploy and maintenance.
- Bring knowledge of data architecture options to the project team and propose solutions that will properly meet the business needs.
- Assist in the design of the appropriate architecture based on time, scope and budget constraints.
- Assist in identifying best practices for data in all phases of sing, including unit, system, integration, performance/stress, user acceptance, and regression.
- Identify tooling to ensure high quality and repeatable deployment activities take place.
- Provide assistance in using the Salesforce metadata and tooling APIs.
- Recommend the use of Salesforce metadata deployment tools such as the SFDX, CLI, Copado, GearSet, Flosum, or other relevant tooling.
Experience/Skills Required
- Understanding of data and architecture oriented tools and platforms.
- Experience in data migration from complex enterprise systems to Salesforce.
- Experience in data modeling, including relational and dimensional data modeling.
- Knowledge of security best practices and familiarity with security standards like HIPAA, PCI, SOX, ISO, NIST.
- Experience with API management and REST standards.
- Experience with SQL, SOQL, SOSL, and SAQL query languages.
- Experience with programming languages for data wrangling.
- Experience with web application development.
Additional Preferred Experience/Skills
- Tableau Certifications (Desktop Specialist, Desktop Certified Associate or Tableau Certified Associate Consultant).
- Mulesoft Certifications (Dev, Platform Architect).
- Programming skills in a language appropriate for data wrangling.
- Experience with integration tools (Tibco, Boomi, Informatica, Jitterbit).
- Experience with IaaS certifications (i.e. AWS, GCP, Azure).
